SMALL VOICE ENSEMBLE for ages 7-11. This small class includes maximum 5 students and is currently offered on Monday afternoons and includes the following Musical concepts:
- Voice Training – strengthening our voice using a variety of warm ups and technical exercises, practicing our pitch and experimenting with our own unique tone
- Rhythm Training – how to keep a steady beat and reproduce and create more complex rhythms
- Basic Music Theory – how to recognize and identify Music symbols and notes
Our repertoire will be chosen both by the instructor and the students and will include all genres, including Blues/Jazz, Classical, Pop and/or Modern, etc.
TERMS / WEEKS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Winter 2023: 8 Weeks Total
Week of January 9 to week of March 6 with no classes week of February 20
Note: Some dates are tentative and subject to change
COST: $25 per student per 40 minute class. I would ask that you commit to at least one term at a time.
